Beautiful plumes of pink to red flowers above attractive bronze to purple foliage, this woodland perennial grows to a height of 36 - 48” in bloom. When not blooming, the foliage stays attractive all summer. Rodgersia prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial to full shade. Hardy to USDA Zones 4-9. Blooms June to August. Commonly known as Rodgers flower. Seed sowing instructions: These tiny seeds can be mixed with sand for ease of handling when sowing. Sow seed indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date on the surface of a moistened, good seed-starting mix. Do not cover seed, provide light and keep moist, in warm temperatures, 70-75 degrees F.
